The 2008 Laser Precision Microfabrication (LPM 2008) conference will run from Tuesday, June 17th until Friday, June 20th, 2008, at Quebec City’s Plaza Hotel.

Registration will start at 4:00 pm on Monday 16 June and will be followed by a welcome cocktail at 5:00 pm.
Extended abstracts
Extended abstract of oral and poster presentations are here available for download. All short abstrats will be included in the participant booklets.
Each oral presentation is encoded with the day of the conference (two first letter of the day), the session (A or B) and the time of the conference.
Example: TH-A-15:40 is for Thursday, session A at 15:40 or 3:40 pm
Each poster is encoded with the Poster code (P), the session (A or B) and the number of the posters location.
Example: PB-28 is for Poster, session B at location 28.
All codes are available in the oral and poster presentation lists.
Contributions (oral and posters)
Oral contributions:
Oral contributors are asked to plan their presentaion to meet but not surpass the maximum allowed time :
- Plenary session, 45 minutes of which 40 minutes of presentation plus 5 minutes for discussion;
- Invited speakers, 30 minutes of which 25 minutes of presentation plus 5 minutes for discussion;
- Contributing authors, 20 minutes of which 15 minutes of presentation plus 5 minutes for discussion.
Microphones will be available in each conference room.
Posters:
Poster sessions will take place in the exhibition area where coffee breaks will be served. Authors are requested to respect the poster session that was attributed to him.
Poster authors are requested to be present at their posters during the poster sessions to answer questions of other attendees.
Poster dimension will not exceed 1m x 2m to feet the base.
Poster session A will take place from Tuesday June the 17th at 4:10 pm (setting-up from 12:30 am) to Wednesday June the 18th at 4:10 pm (taking-down until 4:40 pm).
Poster session B will take place on Thursday June the 19th at 4:10 pm (setting-up from 8:30 am) until the end of the cocktail before the banquet at 7:00 pm (taking-down after the cocktail).
